Be On Time

Show up when you said you would—for meetings, deliverables, and the commitments others planned around.

In practice

Respect the time of those you are meeting with. Respect the commitments others have made based upon your estimations. Being prompt is a really easy way to establish trust and build confidence.

If you are going to be late, say so early. A quick heads-up lets someone replan their day instead of wondering whether you forgot them.

On-time behavior includes internal work: handing off code, posting notes before a review, or closing the loop on a question before end of day when you promised you would.
