Be Honest

Tell the truth with care—about risk, tradeoffs, mistakes, and what you do not know yet.

In practice

Say what you mean and mean what you say. Be polite, and kind, and sensitive… and true to yourself.

Honesty includes admitting when a timeline is tight, when a requirement is unclear, or when you need help. Clients would rather hear reality early than surprise later.

Direct honesty paired with kindness is how we earn long relationships. Sugarcoating and silent optimism cost more in the end.
