Beautiful user interfaces in service of engaging user experiences.
Endertech's experienced design team believes that in web design, function and form are intertwined and that beautiful design alone does not result in a positive user experience (UX).
User interface (UI) design is about the look and presentation of a website or web application. It deals with the visual aspects that users directly interact with--things like color, typography, buttons, icons, and overall layout. We create aesthetically pleasing and functional interfaces that align with the brand identity and that enhance the user experience.
Beyond the details of what color a certain button should be, or which mix of fonts to use, UX design is concerned with the overall experience that users have while interacting with a digital product. It encompasses a range of functional considerations such as usability, accessibility, information architecture and hierarchy, and the user journey through a website or app.
Endertech understands that UI and UX are distinct but highly interdependent. A beautiful UI may lose its charm if the overall experience is frustrating, and a well-thought-out UX may not be fully appreciated without an appealing UI. Our design team handles both aspects and through experience has developed a collaborative process that ensures a seamless integration of visual elements with the user experience.
UI/UX Services at Endertech
We create wireframes as part of the design process in order to think through and map out the user experience.
We produce wireframes in black and white, without images, and using a neutral typeface to outline the basic structure and layout of the website, as well as illustrate the user journey through the site. This exercise allows us to make decisions about how the site should be architected in order to facilitate that journey.
We don't jump straight into producing full page layouts so that we're not bogged down by subjective design details and instead can focus on functionality and user flow.
As part of UX design, we map out the user journey from entry to conversion or task completion. We identify touchpoints and interactions at each stage of the journey. The classic example is ecommerce--in these cases our UX designers consider how to guide the user from where they land, through the catalog, to a product page, adding the product to cart, and finally checking out.
Closely related is the notion of information architecture. Before producing full page layouts, our designers plan and structure the content and information of the site for optimal user understanding.
A thoughtful and seamless user experience can only be appreciated if it is presented in a visually pleasing user interface. We craft bespoke functional interfaces that align with your brand's visual identity.
We design the layouts, color schemes, typography, and other graphical elements to form a cohesive online experience and make your website or app a seamless component of your broader brand presence that might include physical stores and other branded products and experiences.
We love beautiful fonts, colors, and pictures, but we know that UI design is a craft because it is inherently functional in nature. Good design is effective and efficient, and achieves a practical goal, whether that is to convey information about a product or service, or to guide a customer through a journey that results in conversion or checkout.
To this end, we follow best design practices in order to produce usable interfaces that are accessible to users with diverse abilities, and that adapt and look good on the countless devices and screen sizes that are used to access the internet today.
